Russian Women Marriage Customs Are Very Different To The Western World

Written by Lera Cupidonova on June 21, 2010 – 4:46 am -

On the subject of ‘Russian women marriage’, the etiquette and customs are very different to those in the western world. While a lot of Russian weddings are becoming more westernized, the overall protocol is different. For example, you will rarely see flower girls, a best man or bridesmaids.

There is no such thing as an engagement. A man simply asks a woman to marry him, and that’s it. No rings are exchanged on the occasion, and no-one is told about the proposal, except very close family and friends. A gallant man might give his wife-to-be flowers, but this is not compulsory.

The ceremony will be held between one and three months later. It all depends when the Department of Registrations has available dates. The couple will be married by a marriage registrar. A written letter of request has to be submitted to the Department. When this has been received, the couple will be given a list of available dates.

When the application has been submitted, the couple is then known as the bride and groom. There’s no fussing when it comes to making plans for the ceremony. The most important factors are the bride’s dress, the bridal car, the reception, and the rings. Matters such as flowers, invites, bridesmaids’ dresses and music are unimportant.

Types Of Womens Rings

Written by Jan Pavlik on June 12, 2010 – 10:26 am -

Of all the jewelry options, womens rings are often the most powerfully symbolic accessory a woman owns. With all the different reasons to wear a ring, sometimes a woman just wants a pretty addition to an outfit, making them a simple ornament. You can buy this jewelry with any budget, as they are made out of many different materials. [I:http://sacredcowtipping.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/RomanPavlik4.jpg]

Engagement bands are the traditional symbol of impending nuptials. Tradition holds that they are worn on the left ring-finger, and that they have at least one diamond on the band, but this isn’t always the case.

Wedding bands, which generally match, are exchanged during the ceremony between the couple. This band is not always as ornate as the engagement one, and not all married women will wear both a wedding and engagement band. [I:http://sacredcowtipping.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/RomanPavlik47.jpg]

Also common is the promise ring. This jewelry is generally given to a woman as a promise of the intent of marriage. They may also indicate a deep commitment to a partner. They are usually less expensive than engagement ones, and are commonly designed with a heart on the band. This hoop can be worn on any finger.

The Beaty Of Cubic Zirconia Rings

Written by Igor Pauer on June 11, 2010 – 12:14 pm -

Since the early history when man began to use metal and make tools, rings have been a part of our every day lives. Cubic zirconia rings are a relatively new product. They were manufactured and distributed commercially in 1977. They have become popular jewelry item that is chosen in place of high-priced genuine stone rings like rings made with diamonds. [I:http://sacredcowtipping.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/IgorPauer8.jpg]

These synthetic stones are made from Zirconium Dioxide (ZrO2). They are the crystallized form of this chemical compound. It needs to be melted at a constant temperature of more than five thousand degrees in order to be formed. They can be made to resemble many genuine stones such as diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires to name a few.

These crystals are set in many different ring bases. They can be set in silver, gold, platinum, stainless steel, tungsten, or any other ring base. They are made into rings of many styles such as cocktail rings, bridal sets, fashion rings, promise rings, and anniversary rings.

The features of this man-made stone are not identical to those of the genuine stones. They are, nevertheless, popular with consumers because of their ability to pass for genuine stones when examined with the naked eye. Their low cost in relation to the genuine stone also help make them a popular choice. [I:http://sacredcowtipping.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/IgorPauer6.jpg]

Fashion Business Trends

Written by Jack Andee on June 11, 2010 – 4:59 am -

Once the first human being, in Eden or on earth, covered his body with leaves, or later with an animal skin, the fashion industry was founded at that time. Though we are not familiar with the style and attire of that time until the ancient civilizations preserved few images in the solidity of rocks, through cave paintings and through rock-cut sculptures.

Terra Cotta figurines of the oldest Harappan Age show interesting headdresses that could be in contrast to any modern hairstyle with a heavy look. The Dancing Girl of Mohenjo Daro with bangles in her arms is not behind any fashion sculpt of any age. While there is no-one to deny the allure and glamour of Cleopatra; a woman with great political skills and a long nose, who crafted many fashion styles from jewelry to outfits of the great Egyptian Empire of Scissors.

But fashion isn’t just associated to women always! In olden days of Cleopatra, Scissors always wore clothes that were royal, expensive, stylistic, attractive and special. At the same Egyptian soil, the Pharaohs were never behind. The great Biblical Character of Moses, if taken as an Egyptian Prince, was always a portrayed, in tales and later in movies, in a charismatic outfit.
