Hawaii – The worlds greatest natural wonders on one set of islands.

Written by Alexis E. Pineda on May 1, 2010 – 11:46 am -

The Hawaiian Islands have long been seen as a seaside community with perfect beaches and great hotels. However, you haven’t truly experienced Hawaii until you get out of the hotel and see all that Hawaii has to offer.

For the repressed adventurer, there are day or even weeklong hikes that can be planned through the rain forest, steam vents, and lava tubes that make up Kilauea Volcano and the surrounding park. This volcano has been slowly erupting for the last 20 years so the park rangers know enough about the volcano to safely guide you through one of your only chances to see an active eruption first hand.

Maui’s Molokini naval reserve offers picture perfect diving and snorkeling opportunities. On some days you see fish swimming as far as 200 feet below the surface. If you prefer to stay dry you could even charter a glass bottom boat for a cruise through Molokini. This lets the whole family enjoy the view instead of just the good swimmers.

Hawaiian History

Written by Joe Ferguson on April 16, 2010 – 10:52 am -

The early years of Hawaii remains a mystery to many. The only outstanding detail of this proud island is that there is, that the settlement originated hundreds of years before European sailors took the initiative to leave their own lands. Many researchers believe this settlement took place over five hundred years ago! Polynesians are said to have traveled on large double-hulled canoes. They had the uncanny ability to navigate efficiently. Having sharp observation of the sky, ocean currents, aquatic life, and migrating birds helped them find their direction over the seas easily. Many volcanic islands were not able to sustain human life at the time. The Polynesians prepared themselves by equipping their canoes with life sustaining items such as coconuts, taro, sugar cane, and other vital items. Preparing ahead allowed them survive a lengthy voyage successfully.

The Hawaiian population swelled to a stunning amount by the time Cook arrived. It is believed that the island had a population between four hundred thousand and eight hundred thousand. Some historians even debate that over one million people could existed on the island at the time due to the fine methods of food production and living conditions. Hawaii was considered to be a stone age society since there were no observance of any metals on the islands. Don’t allow this observation to lure you into the false pretenses that the society was primitive. This was not the case as the society was living in a high state of technology for that time period.

Hawaiian Island Timeshare Packages

Written by Dewey K. Kunkle on April 13, 2010 – 2:18 pm -

If you are thinking of spending a certain amount of time in Hawaii, then Hawaii timeshare packages are the way to do it fairly cheaper than you would any other way. There are many packages offered on today’s market that would give you options that would suit your time and lifestyle. You will find them in condos, hotels, motels, cottages, resorts, and houses, but you have to have some understanding of how timeshares work and the one best suited to your needs.

Timeshares give you the right to a joint ownership of a property, which is shared with others. This means that you own a certain period of time in each year that you can spend in that resort that you bought your timeshare in. This doesn’t automatically mean you are tied down to the same time every year. You can trade your time with another one of the timeshare holders to try and find a time that is suitable to your needs. This can be done from anywhere in the world. You have a timeshare in Hawaii traded for Mexico, France or anywhere else in the world. This gives you the wonderful opportunity of seeing the rest of the world if you feel like it.
