Travel Guide To Hue, Vietnam
Written by Jose Garces on June 29, 2010 – 3:33 pm -Hue was unified Vietnam’s capital from 1802 to 1945, during the rule of the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty. It was not only the political but also the cultural and religious centre. The imperial citadel used to be comparable to Beijing’s Forbidden City, but most of it was destroyed during the bloody fighting which followed the Tet offensive in 1968. It is still an interesting sight, as a increasing number of buildings are being restored.
Getting there
Hue has a very small airport that has maybe one, at most 2 runways. It shouldn’t be surprising considering the small size of the city. It was a long way from town, and we couldn’t see it from the road at all.
Where to go in Hue
Hue Riders: After experiencing the beautiful city of Hue from the back seat of a couple of motorbikes – really fun and exhilarating and, on occasion, terrifying you head on to Hoi An It’s about 150 kilometres from Hue but the trip would take you most of the day as there are few stops planned along the way.

Some Ideas Regarding Family Holidays
Written by Byron Jonas on June 29, 2010 – 3:22 pm -When a family gets free time from work and school, they often want to take a trip together. This means they have to decide where to go and what to do. When it comes to family holidays, formulating ideas is important to do before actually going to another location.
When thinking of potential locations, it should be noted that all the options be ones that are going to accommodate kids and adults. It would not be fun for the entire family to go to a place where activities for only one age range are offered. Choosing a good location is based on whether there are activities for all ages to take part in.
Many choose a location that is on the beach. A family might choose this place because it is fine for any age. There are numerous things anyone can do while at the beach. For instance, kids can play sports and swim and their parents can also do the same or simply relax. Beaches are family friendly locations where people go for lots of water and sunshine.

Learn About Claiming For Holiday Compensation
Written by Mark Walters on June 29, 2010 – 6:52 am -Every once in a while you go on a holiday and are disappointed. The hotel just was not what you expected. The service was poor. You might expect the tour operator to offer you some money back on the hotel or perhaps give you some sort of a payment to make up for the unexpectedly unsatisfying trip. Surprisingly, this does not happen much, but there are reasons why companies do not reimburse dissatisfied travelers as you would hope that they would do.
Firstly, the economic climate that the world is facing right has resulted in tour operators and property owners doing everything they can to cut their outgoings, and none obligatory financial gestures are seen by them as something which is a none essential outgoing. They are more concerned about simply surviving the recession than making sure that each and every one of their customers goes away happy. Secondly, an ever increasing amount of holiday-goers are making independent booking arrangements rather than booking through a travel agent. Due to the size of travel agents, and the amount of business that they can send to hoteliers and property owners, they can easily exert pressure on the people responsible, however, one-off customers, who have tried to save money by cutting travel agents out of the equation, have no such leverage.
