Let’s Talk Chaise Lounge Cushions

These chairs are usually used for the outdoors for sunbathing, relaxing or plain old stretching. Chaise lounge cushions make sitting on these chairs even more comfortable.
These lounges can be used either for indoors or outdoors. Hence, the materials they are made from vary. Indoor chaise lounge cushions are usually made from foam and enclosed with common fabrics. Outdoor cushions, on the other hand, are more resistant to the assault of the sun, rain and other elements. As such, they are made of synthetic materials like polyester, olefin, acrylic or Outdura. These materials are not only lightweight but extremely durable, making them perfect for the outdoors. They are also very flexible and resistant to mold and mildew, stains and fading.
Cushions that are made exclusively for the outdoors must be waterproof as Mother Nature is a very harsh being. The indoor chaise lounge however is usually designed with a headrest for reclining and sufficient leg room for you to rest or elevate your legs.
There are also a wide range of styles available for lounges including one with two headrest, longer armrests and even matching separate footrests.

How a Back Support Cushion Can Save You From Back Pain

However, sometimes, hectic schedules and bulky workloads can make people forget, and their back often suffer the consequences. Most people suffer from stress and job-related back pain, which they unfortunately enjoy as they go through another day of back-stressing work. This is where back support cushions comes in.
Back pain can be defined as pain around the tailbone, lower back, sometimes upper back and even the neck. This pain pain will be induced by improper posture or prolong sitting stationary in a fixed position. If your wrong posture is left untended to, it would eventually lead to chronic back pain. You will suffer a dull pain, sharp pain or burning sensation down your back.

The Rundown on Foam Wedge Pillows

Apart from pharmacological and surgical methods, positional therapy also works great in combating acid relux. How so? Well, with the aid of a foam wedge pillow of course.
The most common symptoms that are experienced by people with acid reflux include heartburn, regurgitation, and difficulty in swallowing. Less common symptoms might include pain when swallowing, nausea, chest pain, and excessive salivation.
Based on research and studies, positional therapy works very well and effectively for people experiencing acid reflux. One can do so by lifting the head of the bed. You can elevate the head of the bed using a plastic or wooden bed risers. You can also use therapeutic foam wedge pillows or inflatable mattress as a simpler and more effective alternative.
By using a foam wedge pillow, you are able to raise the head of a person experiencing acid reflux. It is very critical that the elevation of the head is at the right height. Six to eight inches (15-20 cm) is at least the minimal effective height to prevent the back flow of gastric fluids.
