Understanding the Difference Between SEO & PCC
Written by David Kalin on March 14, 2010 – 11:52 am -For anyone who may be new to getting an online business up and running here is a rather quick explanation of a couple of very important marketing terms you may have seen around. Understanding what they mean and how to use them will be crucial to your website’s success.
Pay Per Click advertising (known as PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (known as SEO) are 2 methods commonly used to be able to get your website to rank up high in the search engines so that people can easily find your site and then hopefully like what they see and make an inquiry or purchase. With PPC you are typically buying your way to the 1st page of the search engines by agreeing to pay a specified amount of money per click-thru on an ad you place there (every time someone clicks on your ad you will be charged this fee by the search engine company you are buying the ad from). You must have seen these ads many times already as they are the search results you’ll see on the right side of the page of most search engines. Every one of those right side results is an ad for someone’s website and if you actually click on one of those ads that website owner will be charged a fee.

Atlanta Airport Rental Cars
Written by Dae Hyun Kim on March 14, 2010 – 11:46 am -Spring doesn’t officially start until march 21st, but you’d think we’d be past snow problems by now especially in the south. A major blizzard moved through Atlanta today causing major delays for the world’s busiest airport. Atlanta’s Hartfield-Jackson International Airport saw hundreds of flight delays due to their inability to handle snow. Afterall, Atlanta only gets 2 inches of snow on average per year. Why should the airport be prepared to handle snow?
The blizzards have affected the Atlanta Airport car rental business as well. With all the flight delays this leads to hundreds of car rental cancellations as well. All car rental agencies are affected including Enterprise, Dollar, Budget, and all the rest. In particular exotic car rentals in Atlanta seem to have been hit the hardest. If you want a rental car in Atlanta while it’s snowing, it doesn’t make much sense to get a Corvette. People are opting for bigger cars that can handle the snow like SUVs and Hummers.
The northern cities of Minneapolis and Boston seemed to have gotten off light this snow season while the middle US and southern states seem to have gotten unusual amounts of snowfall this year. It seems that the part of the country that is least equipped to handle snow seems to be getting the most of it.
