Lemon Juice For A Homemade Acne Treatment?

Have you hear that lemon juice can be effective for a homemade acne treatment? People deal with so many skin problems, and we will all face at least one in our lifetime, acne would be just one of them. Hyper pigmentation, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars are more skin disorders that many people will face. If your looking for a more natural approach try using lemon juice.

Several factors contribute to the occurrence of skin disorders. Sun damage, the environment, cosmetics, soaps or detergents that contain harsh chemicals, and an improper diet. Getting sufficient vitamins and minerals plays a vital role in your overall health including the skin. Proteins are important as well as these will repair and restore damaged tissue.

The most common skin disorders that people suffer from are uneven skin tone, acne, wrinkles and fine lines. This often happens due to lack of vitamins and minerals. You must feed your body in order for it to perform optimally. The body needs these vitamins just to exist. A good example of this is lemons, they provide a good source of vitamins and mineral and also contain anti oxidants that promote healthy skin. A combination of minerals, vitamins and proteins aid in the promotion of healthy skin.

Lemon juice is a great homemade acne treatment because it contains minerals such as potassium, calcium and magnesium. Not to mention the vitamins, B, E and C. When the hair follicle becomes inflamed, the result can be acne, production of collagen and irregular tissue growth can cause scars, not enough vitamin B complex and lack of hydration causes wrinkles, and not enough vitamin C may be the cause of hyper pigmentation.

For lemon juice to an effective homemade acne treatment, take it orally and use it topically. The result will be softer, supple, cleaner skin.

After slicing a piece of lemon, apply it right to the affected areas on the face. You can also extract the juice onto a cotton ball and apply it to the affected areas. Using some type of applicant would probably be best to assure the spreading of bacteria.

When applying with a cotton ball, use different ones for the non-affected areas as well. After leaving on your face for several hours, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Avoid rubbing the face with a towel. Your skin will feel fresh and clean. Using lemon juice will also help to get rid of excessive sebum, dead skin cells, and kill germs. You can dilute the lemon juice with a little water if you feel it burning your skin.
