Additionally, a wine cellar can be made as large as you want it to be if you are a serious wine collector and need the space for it, as basements are usually quite large areas. There are a lot of people who purchase large wine cooling units that get up to the size of a refrigerator, so having a cool basement all year may very well enable you to avoid spending any money.
