Planning a car show takes a lot of work. If you want to have a successful car show it is important to find a reason to have the guest continue coming. You need to think of fun activities for your customer’s to participate in, or entertainment that would bring in more customers.

When planning a car show the main thing you need to emphasise is the cars. Car shows are showcasing the wonderful craftsmanship of the cars. Make cars your main priority.

Other things can bring out people to look at the cars in the car show, however. Activities can add fun to a car show and bring in an entire family to the show. Child-friendly activities are nice, and adult activities are good as well. Here are a few suggestions:

Award prizes to people who bring their cars to the show. Have different categories, such as best overall car, and have people vote. Award worth-while prizes to the winners. Prizes are good incentives for participation.

You can host a car hop at the show. A car hop is an event where the waiter or waitress brings food out to the car. A car hop brings in the car theme, while also making customers happy by ordering food in a fun fashion. Servers can wear roller skates and car hop costumes to make it even more fun.

Have a type of carnival set up. Have face painting for kids and balloon sculpting. There can be door prizes and raffles catered towards children if you would like to do that. New bikes or the likes can be a great incentive to get parents to come out to the show.

Local bands can be a good addition to a show as well. If you are doing an antique car show bring in older music. People like to have music to listen to, but cater to your audience. Some people won’t appreciate loud rock music.

Car shows are meant to be fun. Make it a great experience for everyone who comes out. Plan your events ahead of time and make sure everyone has a great time.
