Data recovery can save a majority of your data information, in the form of hard drives, zip disks, CDs, DVDs, and other means of storage. Data recovery is very common these days, as it can help you get back on track after your hard drive crash or other means of destruction to your data.

If you take immediate action and seek a repair service for your hard drive, you just may be able to save everything. Selling Collectibles From Home On eBay
Written by dgates on May 17, 2009 – 10:00 am -Selling collectibles from home on eBay can be extremely profitable. If you are into the collectibles market, you can make a decent living selling on eBay. The trick is to know what you are selling and keeping in mind what is hot this month.
If you are into collectibles then eBay is a great place for you to start selling collectibles from home. The best place to start is to sell off your unwanted items. Try to make a profit at this. Before you start listing and selling you should invest in a decent digital camera and learn how to take a good picture of your merchandise. Your photograph is all that a potential customer will see of your product. A great picture will get you a higher selling price and it may be the difference between your item selling or not selling at all. Once you have taken really good pictures of the items you want to sell, look at a few suctions already running. Determine which ones have bids and tailor your listings to look like theirs, don’t make exact copies as you want to establish your own identity.
Here is what the other ads can tell you. How much is reasonable for shipping? You will see what the others are charging. Buyers don’t like to pay excessive shipping fees. Then look at the description. Did they mention any special marks? If the item is silver, did they show the 925 stamp? What other important information did the ad mention.
Check the What’s Hot page to see what trends are in collectibles. Are vintage Barbie Dolls hot: all of them or just certain dolls? What about toys? Which games are hot. Are they easy to locate? Can you go through your kids old matchbox cars and find a few that are in good condition to sell. Old Lego’s are hot too! If you are into collectibles then you have sources for your collection. Are there other sources that will sell to you wholesale? You should have a book that will help you know the difference between a real item and a fake. Take Limoges boxes for example. Don’t be fooled by lowering your eBay price because you saw a Limoges type or style box. These are not authentic and they will never command top dollar. Know your merchandise. Be prepared to expand your products into other areas. If you collect Limoges boxes; perhaps you may want to extend your items for sale into all Limoges glass. Prior to embarking on this journey, check with the marketing tools on eBay to be sure that these are items that sell.

Can I Make Money With An eBay Home Business
Written by dgates on May 16, 2009 – 9:58 am -For every eBay success story you read about on eBay’s’ website or on the internet or in a book somewhere there are a thousand failures. The reality of pulling some obscure item out of your attic or garage and finding out that it is some rare collectible worth thousands does not happen very often. Having it happen more than once is almost freakish. You want to know can I make money with an eBay home business. Yes, you can.
Do not go into this expecting to get rich overnight: you will be disappointed. Building any business takes time, money and effort. If you lack any of those ingredients, you will not make money. Before making the jump into entrepreneurship, ask yourself these questions. How much money do I have for shipping supplies, inventory, eBay fees, and unforeseen expenses? How much time do I have to devote to this business? Do I have the energy and drive to get this business off the ground or do I need to be asleep by 9pm every night? Your answers to these questions will help direct you to the right course of action. You may only have enough time and energy to run the business part-time. This is ok; most people selling on eBay have other jobs. You have to pay the bills and it is unlikely that an eBay startup business will immediately replace your income. That can take years. Money is another issue. What was your answer? Do you have available funds or are you just scraping by paycheck to paycheck. If it is the latter, try selling unwanted items from your home that are easy to pack and ship. It is a great way to start to build a business fund.

Creating Microclimates to Facilitate Growth
Written by dgates on May 15, 2009 – 9:52 am -Many gardeners live in areas where almost anything can grow effortlessly.
Just plant the seeds and water it for a few weeks, and you’ve got a
beautifully lush plant. But if you live in somewhere like Colorado, you’ll
understand what its like to have a slim selection of plants that naturally
grow. It can be quite a challenge to facilitate the growth of a large
variety of plants, especially when the very world you live in seems to be
rooting against you.
Some people solve this problem by loading up their plants with every type
of chemical and fertilizer known to man. This usually works, but to me it
seems kind of unnatural to rely on man made materials to keep your plants
alive. Also, if I’m growing fruits or vegetables, I don’t feel very
comfortable eating something that is entirely composed of chemicals.
A gardening theory that I have relied on in the past to grow many types of
plants is that of creating a “microclimate” for each type of plant. This
is when you regulate the sunlight, shade, moisture, and wind factors for
each separate plant. It sounds like a challenge, and it is. But you can
regulate these factors in such a way that the plant feels just like it is
in the ideal growing conditions. This can be achieved by the use of wind
barriers, shading umbrellas, extra water, or different types or amounts of
compost.
If you’re ready to make an attempt at creating microclimates, you’ll need
to make a detailed plan in advanced. You should start by finding a large
shade providing bush or tree that will grow fast and naturally in your
area. Just look at some undeveloped plots of land and see what is there.
Most likely it grew on its own without any planting or care. This is what
you want to happen. Usually the growing of one plant can bring about the
growing of another more desirable plant.

Picking the Ideal Location for your Garden
Written by dgates on May 14, 2009 – 9:48 am -Once you have picked what garden you want, there are many other factors
you need to decide before you actually get to work with your gardening
tools. Mainly you need to choose its location. This is usually decided by
several factors: How you will water it, how much shade it needs, etc. Some
of these questions can be very important in deciding whether your garden
lives or dies, so don’t take them lightly. You need to take each one into
special consideration.
Choosing the garden’s location within your yard is one of the more
important things to decide. You want to choose a location that will
provide an ideal climate for the plants in your garden. I don’t know what
type of garden you’re dealing with so I can’t give you specific advice,
but if you do a Google search for the plant you’re dealing with then
you’ll find a plethora of sites informing you about the perfect conditions
for its growing. After this, it’s just a matter of finding the most shaded
or most sunny spot in your yard.
Another deciding factor is how you plan on watering your garden. If you
have a sprinkler system already installed for your grass, then it could be
a good idea to put your garden in the middle of your yard. Then it will
get watered at the same time, and require no extra work from your part.
But if this doesn’t provide for a good location for your garden, then you
might end up watering it by hose or dragging a sprinkler out there. In
this case, just make sure your garden is within the ideal distance for a
hose to reach. While this might not seem like a good thing to base the
entire location of your garden on, you’ll be surprised at how nice it is
to plan out in advanced.

Make Your Own Accesories
Written by dgates on May 10, 2009 – 3:21 am -When it comes to the holiday season, decorations are the name of the game. No matter what your religion is or what holidays you celebrate, one of the best ways to prepare is to decorate your home with all kinds of beautiful objects. For those that celebrate Christmas, for example, there are all sorts of decorations that are associated with this holiday. Wreaths, stockings, twinkling lights, and mistletoe are just a few of the things you’ll see adorning the homes of a family that celebrates Christmas. But sometimes you want to add the personal touch to your decorations, something that sets you apart from the rest. With some pottery supply and a little imagination, that’s exactly what you can do. Even if you don’t know anything about making your own pottery decorations, you’ll be surprised to learn that it isn’t as hard as you probably think.
The centerpiece of many homes around Christmastime is the Christmas tree. These trees come in all shapes and sizes, with long needles or short. Everyone has their own personal preference as to what type of tree they like, but the more important thing is what goes on the tree. Lights, garlands, and ornaments are just some of the possibilities. Some people even like to place large bows on their tree and put an angel or star on top. It’s really up to you! But for those that want go a little further, you can use a polymer clay mold to create your own beautiful ornaments. If you have children, you can even make these ornaments as a family. Then, when your children have families of their own, you can pass down the ornaments they made to them.
You’ll need to gather all the supplies to make the ornaments, from the clay and molds to the paint and ornament hooks. But what you really need to use is your imagination. Sure, you can find a blueprint that someone else has used in the past, but you’re looking for something original. Instead, think about what you like and what kind of ornament would fit your personality.

Cottage Style Homes
Written by dgates on May 9, 2009 – 8:55 am -Thinking of Cottage style homes, one might become swept away with images straight out of a children’s story book. Quaintly pitched roofs, hand-hewn beams, candle-lit shuttered windows, cobblestone walkways, etc. (not to mention hard-working dwarves, cuddly forest animals, poison apples, etc.) One thing is for sure – Cottage style homes, no matter the size, all share a warm and inviting character. Once stereotyped as only a vacation home, today’s Cottage has become a popular choice as a primary residence. Its charming personality offers a sense of refuge and retreat from the clamor of daily life outside its walls – in the enchanted forest, of course.
- Quaint, warm character
- Natural material choices of Brickwork and/or Stonework
- Steep roof pitches
- Often called a “Country” Cottage
- Many narrow lot designs

Great Depression Stock Market Crash
Written by dgates on May 9, 2009 – 7:32 am -To get an idea how well the stock market was doing in the 1920s, on August 24, 1921, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was 63.9. By the end of that same decade, its value had risen to 381.2. Regulation on stock market was lax and insider trading was quite common. Many fraudulent companies were created to attract investor money. Holding companies were also formed for the purpose of investing in other companies with out actually having any equity themselves.
What was slowly happening was an artificial stock market bubble growing and growing. Most people were not that concerned with declines in stock value during October 1929, dismissing this as just market fluctuation. Savvy investors began to worry when stocks at the Wall Street Exchange began tumbling on Black Thursday, October 24 1929. By Black Tuesday, October 29, stock values were in free fall. And widespread panic ensued among stock market investors. The great Crash of 1929 had started.
